BEGINNING APPLIQUE (Fusible) – Easy
Pam has a wonderful pattern picked out for you to learn this

fun technique with. Babyhood is a set of 4 patterns, all large

designs, that make learning this fusible applique technique,

easy and fairly quick. Pam will instruct you on how to use

iron-on fusible and your decorative machine stitches to applique

one of these sweet baby quilts. The pattern comes with a bunny,

elephant, fish or flower design. You get to choose which one you

will create.

COLLAGE – Easy/Intermediate
BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND! So many people have had a lot of fun creating these wonderful designs by Laura Heine. Pam has also added a few nice designs in the mix, which we also carry. This process is fun,

creative and stretches your imagination with color and design.

Come take this two day class and design your collage quilt by

using large floral, leaf or novelty prints. No two will ever be the

same, as you are the artist. The technique for creating these quilts

is unique and we would love to show you how to make your

very own collage quilt.

BASIC FREE MOTION QUILTING – Easy
It is amazing how much Pam will show you and have you try at this

2 hour class. You will begin with easy loopy designs, practice, and

move on through other designs that will encourage you to “spread

your wings”. You will get to practice after each tutorial. You will

leave this class with knowledge and skills to continue to practice at

home. The key to “getting the hang” of free motion quilting is PRACTICE

, PRACTICE and more PRACTICE. HINT: a small glass of wine in the evening

before you practice is a great help
* YOU MUST HAVE AN EXTENDED TRAY FOR YOUR

   MACHINE TO TAKE THIS CLASS.

BEGINNING QUILTING – Easy
Spring, what a great time of year to learn how to quilt. Tod is using a

new pattern for this class, CHERISH by Villa Rosa Designs and what a

cute quilt it is.This class is jam packed with information and will last

for six weeks. You will learn how to use your rotary cutter/ruler/mat,

machine piece, square up blocks, make a back for your quilt, layer

and machine sew your “quilt sandwich” together and bind YOUR quilt.

When the class is over with, you WILL have a finished quilt. YAHOO!

FISH CLASSES WITH KAREN SENGEL – Intermediate
We are so happy and excited to have Karen back with us for a second time. Last year she taught several classes on her process for making her stunning quilts. Everyone left with a sense of accomplishment and new skills.
Come join Karen and others interested in making a beautiful fish art quilt. The class is two days, and what a wonderful two days they will be. Your first day will be preparing the pattern and auditioning fabrics. The second

day will be finalizing your fabric choices and piecing.

VESTIGE QUILT–Intermediate
Come spend a few days with Tod and make this stunning modern quilt.

Vestige is the perfect combination of great fabrics (color and design)

and modern pattern. Yes, it looks difficult, BUT Tod is just the one to

walk you through the steps and make it easier. She will show you the

secrets of piecing the curved blocks as well at the triangle blocks. You

will be “sew” happy you did.  Fabric kits are available.

CHICKEN CLASSES WITH KAREN SENGEL – Intermediate
We are so glad to have Karen back with us this year, if only for a few months. If you have already taken her Fish Class, then this is the next step for you. Yes, you have to have taken her fish class first in order to participate in the Chicken Class. This class is a little more challenging, but so worth it. Look at this wonderful chicken! Come spend a few days with Karen and make this chicken YOURS. Your fabrics, your color choices and your extra special touch.

**Should you need to cancel, a 48-hour notice is required in order to receive an in-store credit.  Class credits will be redeemable for one year from time of class cancellation.


***A BASIC knowledge of quilting and how to operate your sewing machine is NECESSARY to take the classes.   EXCEPTION to this rule is the Beginning Quilting Class – which you still need to know how to operate your machine. 


You will be given a supply list for the class at registration.
